Leave around 4:00 AM for Tiger Hill and its Kanchenjunga sunrise, visiting Ghoom Monastery and Batasia Loop on the return. After breakfast see the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI), P.N. Zoological Park, the Japanese Temple, Peace Pagoda and a tea estate.
