Saputara, Gujarat's only hill station, sits cool and green at around 1,000 m in the Sahyadri range. This camping trip starts with an overnight journey from your chosen city, then settles you into tents for two days of easy mountain adventure: treks to the Sunset and Sunrise points and Governor Hill, the Saputara Tribal Museum and the Rose, Step and Lake-View gardens, free time at the lake-side market, and the spectacular Gira Waterfall on the way home. Departure from your selected city — Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Bharuch or Surat — in the evening/night, beginning the overnight journey towards Saputara.
Reach the Saputara campsite in the morning for tent allotment and freshen-up, followed by breakfast and lunch at the camp. In the afternoon, trek to the Sunset Point or enjoy a short jungle trek, returning by evening. Dinner followed by Garba and group activities.
An early wake-up and breakfast, then a trek to Governor Hill or the Sunrise Point. Return for lunch, then visit the Saputara Tribal Museum and explore the Rose Garden, Step Garden and Lake-View Garden, with free time at the Saputara local market. Back to the campsite for dinner, Garba and group activities.
Breakfast and check-out from the campsite, then visit the Gira Waterfall en route as you begin the return journey towards your city — reaching home with unforgettable memories and new friendships.
