    Manali arrival · leisure day

    Arrive in Manali, check in and freshen up. Explore Hadimba Devi Temple, Manu Temple and Old Manali, enjoy the local cafés and return for dinner.

    Manali → Gombo Rangjon / Purne

    Drive towards Gombo Rangjon over the spectacular Shinku La Pass (16,580 ft). See the first views of Gombo Rangjon, explore the peaceful Kargyak Valley and spend the night in camp.

    Gombo Rangjon → Padum

    After breakfast depart for Padum. Take a scenic trek to the cliff-hugging Phugtal Monastery, then continue to Padum. Relax near Sheela Waterfall.

    Drang Drung Glacier & Pensi La

    Drive towards Drang Drung Glacier, the source region of the Stod River. Cross Pensi La, visit Langtso Lake and stop at Sani Lake before returning to Padum.

    Padum → Jispa

    Drive through spectacular valleys towards Jispa, exploring Stongday and Karsha monasteries before reaching the green, peaceful village of Jispa.

    Jispa → Manali & departure

    Drive to Manali via Baralacha La with stops around Deepak Tal and Suraj Tal, cross the Atal Tunnel and reach Manali by afternoon. Evening Volvo departure towards Delhi, arriving the next morning.
